The show's creator Marc Cherry told the couple during his wedding speech that Eva - who married basketball star Tony Parker in Paris on Saturday, can't get pregnant for at least a year because it hasn't been written into her character Gabrielle Solis' storyline .
Eva insists she is "fine" with the pregnancy ban and is looking forward to spending time alone with her new husband.
She told America's OK! magazine: "We're fine with that. We want to spend some time with each other, even though we want kids very much."
