Jon Gosselin buys ring and is secretly engaged to his 22 year old girlfriend.

....E! News has learned the couple purchased a ring from jeweler-to-the-stars Edouard Nahum on Sunday. The jeweler stopped by Christian Audigier's yacht to privately show the lovebirds a selection of rings.

Naturally, there's no use purchasing a ring if it's not going to be worn on the ring finger for maximum rumor exposure, and that's just what young Hailey did at the VIP Room in St.-Tropez late on Monday night until 5 a.m.

"They're engaged but nobody is allowed to say. They've been warned to keep it secret," says a source who is close to Nahum. .........

One trip for their Jack Russell terrier in a plane's cargo hold was enough to convince Alysa Binder and Dan Wiesel that owners needed a better option for pet travel. On Tuesday, the first-ever all-pet airline, took off from New York.

Brothel helps environment by offering discount to customers who ride their bicycle.

A struggling brothel in Germany has thought up a novel way to attract customers in a sagging economy and save the environment.
The owner of the Maison d’envie brothel in Berlin has introduced a discount if customers ride a bicycle to their establishment. The reason is both financial and environmental. Owner Thomas Goetz says, “The recession has hit our industry hard. Obviously we hope that the discount will attract more people. It's good for business, it's good for the environment -- and it's good for the girls.” Customers receive a five euro discount ($7 USD) from the usual rate of 70 euro ($98 USD) for a 45-minute session.
Already the scheme is working, and the brothel has seen three to five new customers each day taking up the offer. Traffic in the neighborhood has also improved because of the eco-friendly prostitutes.

Casey Kelly threw his last pitch of the season Sunday night. He is one of the best pitching prospects in baseball, and he is perfectly healthy, so if none of this makes sense, understand that little about Kelly’s young career does.
The Boston Red Sox are undertaking a grand experiment in their handling of Kelly, one that could change how teams guide young players who show exceptional talent as a pitcher and everyday player. Kelly is a shortstop, too, a potentially dynamic one, and given his druthers, he’d play there full-time.
And when Boston chose him with the 30th overall selection in the 2008 draft, Kelly said he would turn down a scholarship to play quarterback at the University of Tennessee and sign with the Red Sox under one condition: He gets to play shortstop, even though the Red Sox – and almost every other team – viewed him as a potential top-of-the-rotation pitcher. So Boston offered a compromise: play shortstop in 2008, then pitch the first half of 2009 before returning to shortstop in the second half.
The novelty appealed to Kelly. If he couldn’t be the next Babe Ruth, two-way phenomenon, he’d settle for a modern-day facsimile. Then he went out and put up a 2.08 earned-run average over 95 innings at two levels of Class A, and thus the reality that the Red Sox are shutting down perhaps the best arm in a system loaded with good ones.
“I mean, I’ve had a lot of success pitching,” Kelly said before the All-Star Futures Game, where he pitched a scoreless sixth inning for the U.S. in a 7-5 loss to the World team. “It’s kind of crazy. I want to play shortstop, but should I?”......................................

The British Government thinks high school students do not understand the pleasurable nature of sex. To right this wrong they have embarked on a campaign to raise awareness and, in doing so, have created the world’s best slogan.

Britain’s National Health Service is distributing a pamphlet to school students, parents, and teachers outlining that students have a “right” to an enjoyable sex life and that regular sex can be good for cardiovascular health. The authors of the pamphlet, titled Pleasure, believe that for too long students have been taught about the dangers of sex, the need for safe sex, and finding a loving partner rather than the main reason people have sex -- because it’s insanely pleasurable.

The slogan for the new campaign is “An orgasm a day keeps the doctor away.”
